You can manage all your e-mail using KMail, a complete and full featured mail client supporting multiple mail protocols (POP3, IMAP, SMTP), security enhancements and spam filtering, etc. We present its interface and basic usage, please refer to the KMail Home Page for more information.
Launch KMail by
choosing → from the main menu. The first time a wizard appears to
setup your main mail account: fill it with the configuration information
(account type, login and password, mail servers) provided to you by your
ISP or network administrator.

You can browse the web with Firefox, a state-of-the-art web browser supporting tabbed browsing, security enhancements, search suggestions, RSS feeds, multimedia online content (such as Javatm and Flash®), etc. Here we concentrate on its interface and basic usage, please refer to the Firefox Home Page for more information.
Launch Firefox by
choosing → from the main menu. One of the main features of
Firefox is tabbed navigation which allows you
to browse many websites at the same time without opening another browser
window (see Figure 2.4, “Tab-Surfing the Web with Firefox”). Just hit Ctrl+T to open a new tab and Ctrl+W to close the currently open one.
